How is a prokaryotic cell different from a eukaryotic cell?
Prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells differ primarily in their structure and organization. Prokaryotic cells, like bacteria, lack a nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles, while eukaryotic cells, found in plants, animals, fungi, and protists, have a nucleus and various membrane-bound organelles. Additionally, prokaryotic DNA is typically a single circular molecule, while eukaryotic DNA is organized into multiple linear chromosomes within the nucleus.
