The increasing demand for trees and their felling to meet industrial and housing needs is justified due to increasing population growth and economic development. However, indiscriminate felling of trees is not justified.

Before choosing to cut trees, we must acknowledge the fact that trees play a critical role in maintaining ecological balance by providing oxygen, supporting biodiversity, preventing soil erosion, and reducing climate change. Cutting down trees on a large scale will disrupt these essential processes, leading to habitat loss, and environmental degradation.

We must use a balanced approach to reduce the effects of this. We should adopt sustainable practices like afforestation and reforestation to balance tree cutting. We can also use alternative materials like recycled wood, bamboo, and other sustainable resources.

Thus, we can conclude that meeting human needs must not come at the expense of environmental health. A sustainable approach is necessary to ensure a healthy planet for future generations.
